The Mission Call

The call finally came-- Africa Southeast Area Mission! Dave will serve as the Associate General Council for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 37 countries (1/3 of which are French speaking--Dave speaks French) and Pam will be assigned by the Area Presidency to a missionary responsibility when we get to Johannesburg, South Africa. We are planning to leave about the middle of April, 2012--but that is entirely dependent on our getting visas before then. These require FBI clearances--which can be time consuming, we understand. We're very excited--but, there's a lot to be done before the adventure begins!
